I noted recently that Tutor LMS Pro updates are not available when I update to a new version of Efor.

I can see all the other bundled plugins available for update, but Tutor LMS Pro is always missing.

The Tutor LMS Pro License is activated and I have Envato Market connected to my website.

Hi, that’s strange, normally you should be able to access to the future updates of TutorLMS Pro since your Pro license is activated, maybe there was a temporary issue on their server etc..

I just logged in to your site and updated your TutorLMS Pro to the latest version by manually uploading the latest plugin file, just let us know if you have any trouble with the updates in the future.

It’s indeed a bit strange since in my other websites using Efor, Tutor LMS Pro updates show up normally when I update the theme.

Hello Ahmet,

I’m contacting again to report that the issue is unfortunately not resolved.

The updates for Tutor LMS Pro are not appearing in the update list in
/wp-admin/update-core.php
nor in
/wp-admin/themes.php?page=efor-install-update-theme-plugins

even after updating the Efor theme.

Could you please provide some guidance on how to resolve this?

Thanks for your patience.

We’ve received confirmation from the Tutor LMS team that Tutor LMS Pro does not register update notifications in WordPress, even with an active Pro license. Because of this, updates won’t appear in the WordPress updates screen and manual updates are required. This is an intentional design decision on their side.

We’ve passed our feedback and concerns to the Tutor LMS team, and hopefully they can introduce proper auto-update support in the future.

To make things easier in the meantime, we will continue to include regularly updated Tutor LMS Pro versions within future Efor theme updates. When we release a new theme update, you’ll be able to update the plugin via Appearance → Install Plugins.

We will release a new update with the updated plugin in a few days.

I think the issue is in this particular website activation with Tutor LMS Pro.

In my other client websites using Efor, when I update Efor and the author has noted in the theme’s changelog “- updated: Tutor LMS Pro (bundled plugin)” , I can see the option to update Tutor Pro in my WP Admin.

It’s strange because I see this option in my other websites, except the one we are talking about. In this website only, even when I update the theme, I cannot see the option to update Tutor Pro.

Thanks for the clarification — and yes, I actually remember it the same way as well. In the past, when we bundled an updated Tutor LMS Pro version with an Efor update, the update option was visible as expected.

Given the mixed behavior you’re seeing across sites, we’ll keep an eye on this particular installation and monitor it closely with the upcoming Efor updates. If the update option still doesn’t appear after we release the next theme update with an updated Tutor LMS Pro version, we’ll investigate it further on our side.

For now, everything looks fine license-wise, but we’ll definitely watch this and follow up if anything changes.

Hi,

We have just released a new update for the Efor theme which includes the latest version of the Tutor LMS Pro plugin.

1. First, update your theme to the latest version following this guide:
https://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/how-to-update-your-theme/

2. Then go to “Appearance → Install Theme Plugins” to update Tutor LMS Pro as well.

Important:
If you encounter any issues or failed updates while updating bundled plugins from the “Install Theme Plugins” page:

– Go to the “Plugins” page, deactivate the problematic plugin, and delete it.
– Then return to “Appearance → Install Theme Plugins” and install it again.

This process will install the latest version of the plugin and will not affect any of your existing content or data stored in the database.

After completing all updates, please check your website again.

I updated to Efor to v13.2.2

After that, Tutor LMS Pro update was available in “Appearance → Install Theme Plugins”.
