How do I update to the latest version of the theme. I currently have 2.0.

I couldn’t find the update instructions in the theme folder. (The read me file says only: “by Pixelwars http://themeforest.net/user/pixelwars”)

Guess, I’ve now found it. But, sry for being slow, I don’t understand the instructions:

“This message is not for first using this WordPress theme.

If you are using this WordPress theme right now we recommend these steps:

Install new version as a different theme for backup previous version.

This new version has a different version number and different folder name.
So don’t change the folder name and install it, WordPress will
install this version as a different theme but your previous settings
still stayed.

The translation files are located in the languages folder under theme folder. Copy your translation files ( .po and .mo ) from previous version of the theme.”

Please download the new version from ThemeForest.net and install it via WordPress admin.

I have updated it now and customized it. But now, again this problem is still not solved: http://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/thumbnails-when-sharing-links-on-social-networks/
And: A friend had changed the size of the title & other little things. All of these customizations are now gone… :(

I just updated the Read file and it has reset my website to the original setting, I went through extensive coding to make changes for my original site.

This is frustrating!

All theme modification should be done by using child themes not editing the theme files directly.
