Just this:

But I took it out and the problem remained. Also, it was happening before I put that in. I’m not sure if this helps, but the latest projects thumbnails are below the text when viewing on a fullscreen. See URL provided above (www.adaptivenow.com)

the full slider that comes with version 3.5. I want to keep the full page slider, but have it be a little smaller so it doesn’t take up so much of the page on a desktop.
