after the slug has been changed it works again. portfolio is hidden though at the moment. only remaining problem is that all dynamic elementor widgets that require javascript do not work due ti the “#” syntax. e.g. toggle element or accordion.

ok thank you. but the portfolio must work, it did before. just stopped after i fiddled around with categories. if loaded separately not via the theme it works (direct URL without the #)
at the moment the website is unusable due to this unfortunately.
i did, no change. i tried it with only the pixelwars core active but portfolio elementes do not open upon click sadly.

why use (enforce the use) of elementor if many dynamic widgets do not work?
this is sadly very unfortunate since i need those elements. if i place them in the gutenberg editor, they get overwritten by elementor and are not visible.but what about the portfolio? it must work there since it has nothing to do with any javascript, just the theme?
the portfolio works after creating a new one. but elements do not open up upon clicking them (see my other thread). it did work before, even with all plugins activated. please let me know if there can be something done about improving the categories display.
the same issue now happens with the portfolio! items are not clickable…what’s going on? it used to work but once elementor is involved it all breaks?
if you circumvent the theme it works! so it’s due to the “#” routing
p.s. for some reason the portfolio is completely blank now after some fiddling with categories. did the theme just break? i cannot get it to display anything again, can you?
in more detail: main categories are being displayed but not sub-categories. so if an item has 2 or more categories attached, the category is not being displayed in the portfolio category menu. is there a possibility to maybe include kind of a hamburger menu? also: any chance to switch to some sort of list view or change the amount of items being displayed in a row? thanks.
hi! thanks for getting back to me. i got it to work using polylang with the switcher in the footer and the lingotek to translate widget strings. so far no issues. your team has been very helpful and amazing along the way!

but it works, i can add the language switch there (which acts as expected in comparison to the home menu) and i can also change how it is being displayed via the “ul” code you gave me (removing the bullet point). so i can add it, it works, if i can change the display, can’t i also change the placement? like you did in the code for placing the widget where the music player was?)
thanks! is it possible to change widget elements placement in the footer? if i add another widget there it is being displayed stacked, i would like to have it next to each other inline.
i was talking about the homepage menu, how to move it up a bit.
and it’s only slow in safari and stalls upon loading of the homepage. fast everywhere else (all other browsers and devices i have), safari does not use any plugins and hosting server is fine. switching off the caching and minifying plugins your theme installed helped but shouldn’t it be the other way around?
any idea why the site takes a long time to load in only safari? other browsers on mac work swiftly and fine. in safari the site is black a long time before it goes into displaying content of the homepage.
and: what’s the code to move the menu widget up? the big text i mean.

do i have control over homepage font sizes (menu/title)?sorry, i cane dit the menu via “widgets”, but i have no control over the actual linking, so maybe i can get some code to change it for the language plugin elements at the top? OR exclude them somehow? OR maybe add a special widget space without the “#” addition?
any possibility to change/edit the links for menu entries? in this case especially for the language switcher flags? if i can move/place the elements, it must be possible to change the linking? it circumvents the plugin because it adds the “/#/” argument followed by “undefined” which must be definable somewhere, no? also: if i change the page slug from ” about me” to “about us” the menu entry “about” disappears – how do i change the linking for the whole menu then? otherwise i cannot change any page names or add new ones! must be be possible somewhere inside a “link map” or similar, no?
YOAST SEO is pretty pretty good. works with other pixelwars themes.
thanks. after migrating to another server and re-installing everything, the issue is now gone! please ask your developer if there is anything to be done about polylang not working due to hashtags.

sadly yes, contact still the first thing i see, rest of menu comes later.
title/logo/tagline there but way too high (cut off) and over the language switch (of course).
also copyright goes over social links (could be fixed by a line break though)
i just did via a PHP plugin. it’s 200MB now

just for safety: is it possible to display another menu where the music player was? so that i could add a language menu if i need to set it up manually.
do you have the code for that?it happens on all of my devices, apple, huawei and samsung. also on the tablet: when in portrait mode, the title and logo box are missing. contact is always there and the other menu entries come in later. when in landscape, the title and logo are there (too high up) but the social media buttons are missing. weird.

i would need to buy their expensive pro version for that unfortunately. i have to find another way then…do you know another multi-language plugin that works with your theme? i mean worst case i just clone everything myself and link to the other language? double the work…

no. i want everything to show up on mobile and small browser sizes. at the moment it hides itself which did not happen BEFORE the CSS change to move it up!

why does the background of the title go away when i remove the logo? can it stay?can the logo be also something non-square? does is resize? how about on mobile?

my question is concerning the portfolio as well but when it is opened!
how do i put pictures and text next to each other in different portfolio_fields?
when i “inspect element” in firefox on your demo there are “span4” and “span8” portfolio fields aligning perfectly next to each other and rearranging when screen size/device changes.
how do i achieve this in WP editor? shortcode only gives me “portfolio field” and that’s always spanning over the whole page.
p.s. what does “column” do? and also: tags do not work, i only get text and no graphical tags.
