I have activated the blogs and updated the theme. Still they are not clickable. Moreover if i put a link in the description, it is not clickable either. There is some problem with this. Please check thoroughly.
1) I don’t understand what you mean. I didn’t use any shortcodes but simply moved the code that creates posts from resume page to contact page. Is there any way where i can list my latest blog posts at the bottom of my contact page and upon clicking them it should be visible in a new page ??
2) Is there a way i could use the in build 2014 theme’s blog listing page ?? The current blog page template provided with the current theme is way too plain and dull. Blog is an important part of a website. I suggest you should do something about the blog page.
+3) If i put some long text in my blog posts, they wont align and instead will go out of the page. Check the link i shared above.
So the features are not at all available in 4.3 ?? I do not wish to update to the latest version for some reasons. Can i enable the blogs in this version itself ??
I managed to rearrange the items as i like but by default it is showing all portfolio items i have in total. I have created a new default category item that is selected and would like the portfolio page to show only those categories items on page load. I have put a JS line to trigger click on that category on page load but unfortunately that is not working. Please guide me as to how can i achieve this.
The theme version i am using 4.3
Can you please tell me how can i add a dedicated blog listing page in this version ??I somehow fixed the issue after trying some combinations of CSS. Now just want to make sure that my fix will be consistent across all browsers.
Hi,
I am facing the same problem, trying to fit an image to the background of cover page. After following the thread i managed to get my image adjust according to the container and have some background image for the areas around the image. I am wondering if i can push the image up top in continuation to the above mention CSS adjustments so that whenever the image has to leave some blank area up and below itself, it will just stick to the top leaving the area below it only.check this link http://www.branddiaries.com/development
The image i put in the center doesn’t shrink when i reduce the screen size.
And what the responsive image thing ?? Just like the background image, i would like my inner images to be responsive too. How can i make that ??
Thanks.. that did the job….
I am not planning to include spirals in innner pages. Just the outer page.
The image i am using currently on the URL i shared above has spirals on the left. I just want to know a way to stick them out a little, or overflow outside the coverpage div, so that it shows a diary like effect.
Or maybe i use a small spiral (like – http://www.branddiaries.com/development/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/spiral.png) and make repeat on the left side. This will be good for the responsive design i think. But again i would need to overflow it a bit.I am trying to build a diary like effect with spirals, like here in this link – http://javapapers.com/
Head over to http://www.branddiaries.com/development/
The background image you can see currently has some spirals in it on left. You can see them by adjusting the height a bit. I want them to stick out so that the while box gives a diary effect. I would like to know how can i always make only spirals overflow.
Also please tell me the best resolution to keep for this kind of background image.
