Actually dmbalogun if you follow these instructions from the Documentation file you can get the dummy demo.

Import Demo Data

Go to: Tools > Import > WordPress.
WordPress might offer you to install the WordPress Importer plugin, if you haven’t installed it before do it now.
Install and activate the plugin.
Once you’ve installed WordPress Importer plugin, browse to the package folder, select XML data file under Sample Data folder and upload it.
Go to: Appearance > Menus. Select theme location for the imported custom menu.

I still can’t figure out how to get rid of these short codes though.

For whatever reason my unarchiver (mac osx) won’t open the complete file from theme forest. I tried downloading theme file independently and it downloaded and opened just fine. I need to be able to see the documentation though.
