Excellent, many thanks!
Great, works, thanks so much for looking into it for me and for the solution!
I don’t quite understand how these links work. I have two similar pages, yet on one I have one type of link format and on the other the next. Seems random as I have not done anything to specify my links on either page, at least I’m not aware that I did. Would you be able to help me figure out what is happening?

http://www.ateliernovotny.com/your-support/I would actually like to modify my “customizer” links. I’d like to make them underlined and bold. Would that be possible to do via css please?
My bad!
Many thanks again! Many thanks for the reply, however it doesn’t work.
My site http://www.ateliernovotny.com if you’d like to take a look. I have the code in place currently. All right, please disregard the previous reply, after the update a “sticky sidebar” option was added and I had it checked, once unchecked it works fine.
Thank you, that did solve the issue, much appreciate your getting back to me with a solution.
I have one more question though, not sure if it’s connected with this adjustment. If you look at my site and scroll up and down a bit you’ll notice that the sidebar has a very weird, jerky movement and looks as if it moved separately from the content. I’ve gotten feedback about this so I thought I’d ask. Is this normal behavior? I tried to remove the 3rd party widgets and that didn’t seem to help.
Thanks.
Hi Serkan,
after the 1.5 update the sidebar shows a strange behavior while using the shortcode you provided. Please check my site at ateliernovotny.com. When scrolling down it jumps to the right slightly, creating a very unpleasant effect. When I remove the shortcode it’s all right. But I do need the adjustment in place. That’s fantastic Serkan. Thanks, much appreciated.
I see and I do understand, thanks for clearing that up for me. Now that I know how it works I’ll just have to work around it.
One more question regarding excerpts. I set my excerpt length to 20 words and it works as it should on blog but not on archives. It’s got no effect on archives/grid. The default excerpt length seems to be in effect on grid archives. Once again the same link applies here http://www.ateliernovotny.com/tag/video/. Not that big of a deal but please do look if you have a minute.
Thanks.
I know I keep nudging you about this and I’m sorry but I don’t really have an answer and would love having this solved.
I rephrase my question one last time in case I was not clear enough: Is it please possible to have “Read more” button shown on all posts? Currently if the content of a post is shorter than excerpt limit it won’t show the button in blog and archives. Example here: http://www.ateliernovotny.com/tag/video/
Fantastic – works, thanks so much!
Thanks again. One more question if you please, I am using Google captcha (via simple plugin by BestWebSoft) and it just doesn’t play well with my site. Please look at this post for example and scroll down to comments:
http://www.ateliernovotny.com/2016/12/03/paint-what-you-really-want-watercolor-demonstration-by-daniel-novotny/Is this possible to fix at all please?
I understand, thank you for the reply and for providing me with a link.
Would you please recommend an anti-spam solution for protecting comments that works well with your theme in case I decide not to use Disqus?
Thanks. Thanks for the fast reply. I am not sure we are on the same page here though. I am referring to the literal “Read more” button which is displayed on the home page and archives. On some posts it doesn’t show. You can see an example here: http://www.ateliernovotny.com/category/teaching/lessons/
Thanks.Absolutely fantastic. Thanks again!
Many thanks for the prompt answer!
This hides the form from posts and archives as well. Would it be possible to show the form on posts and archives while disabling it for pages? Or does the one exclude the other?Awesome, much appreciated!
Yes, I’ll do that. No worries.
This bugs me. It would have two functions: 1. open the post itself without the need to scroll back up and click on the title and 2. take people directly to the comment section if they read the whole thing, allowing them to leave a comment without requiring them to scroll back down to the comment section yet again.
Any workaround for this? That’s all right, maybe you’ll think about it for the next update? Not the end of the world though.
Here’s an example: http://www.ateliernovotny.com/new-page/
I added 2 widgets to the Page Feature Area: Custom Menu and Text widgetAwesome, thanks so much!
Thanks for the reply but that’s not exactly what I meant. I want to show full posts on homepage AND have a link of some kind at the end of them so people won’t have to scroll all the way back up and click the post title if they want to leave a comment. I may have confused you with the ‘Read more’, sorry about that. Let’s say displaying a number of comments after any particular post would do well, or just ‘Leave a Comment’. Something like that. But clickable so it would open the post and let them comment.
Hi Serkan,
I played around with adjusting the values but I’ll check out the vid. and get back to you if I won’t be able to make it work. Thanks for the reply!
DanielVery good, thanks!
Btw. love the theme. Thanks for the reply, but I was probably not clear enough. I don’t like having sticky posts in the slider or latest posts in the slider because both duplicate what is on the home page already. One remedy I can think of would be a code that would make the sticky posts act like regular posts, meaning they would NOT appear on the home page in front of rest of the posts.
Hi, isn’t there a workaround for this please? In the Eric demo the slider doesn’t seem to contain neither recent posts nor sticky posts. Showing either of them on my site would make no sense. Thanks.
