I deleted all previous code regarding the portfolio items and applied only the CSS lines you mentioned above.

This still does not create the space between the cards. It also causes many responsive issues (resizing to mobile, then back to desktop causes portfolio items to overlap).

What I would like is 1) All original functionality from the out-of-the-box demo. 2) Some visual separation between portfolio items. This can be a border, or if it’s easier, each portfolio item can be a “card” type, with a shadow.

This might require a little bit of playing around with, I have tried and cannot seem to solve it. I will email you my login, can you please try to achieve the two requests above?

I would like 3 items per row on desktop, 2 on tablet, and 1 on mobile (how it operates without the added CSS, but I would also like a little bit of spacing between each item in the row. How can we do this?

Also, is there a way to password protect the entire portfolio? So basically, when you enter the password once, you can then access all of the items in the portfolio? Right now, you have to enter the password for each and every item, which is painful.

Initially, it was all working. Everything was fine, the Elementor styles were applied to the live portfolio page. However, a few days later, they disappeared and all Elementor elements stopped working.

I will contact my hosting company too but I feel like perhaps it is not that, but I will try just in case.

Please let me know what you find after investigating. I am hoping to present the portfolio in a few weeks.

Thanks for the additional css. I added it in and it solved one problem but there are still other issues.

The text overlaps the elements above/below it. Also, it doesn’t make sense for the line to be there like this. The second element looks like it is just pointing off the page. The whole thing seems off. I had one of your other themes a few years ago and it worked perfectly. It was the cvCard theme. Is there a way to just take the process widget from cvCard and use it here? Or is there some more code that can make this look good?

You are right, the demo site’s process widget works perfectly when resizing the browser.

However, that appears to be because the demo site has a limited character length and 6 process icons. I have slightly more characters to describe each icon in the process. I also changed it to 4 icons rather than 6.

Do we have to use 6 icons and a short text length in order for this widget to work responsively? Is there a fix for this?

Hi. Quick update:

I fixed this issue of the pages not loading by deleting ALL pages and starting a fresh demo import.

However, I am still having one issue: the “about me” page has many errors. Can you please check it? It is a fresh start and import and there is still many bugs on the page.

Sorry to bother again, and I appreciate your help.

Basically, what I am trying to achieve is importing demo 1 and having it look exactly like demo 1. I can edit from there.

Right now, it is not showing the demo pages. It is showing my old pages. And when I switch over to the new pages by editing the menu links in appearance > menus, it does not show the new pages. I am using the URL structure that you used #/contact for example. It just will not show up. It still shows my old page.

I did do this and unfortunately it did not work.

This error occurred after I changed the slug url for the page. For example, after importing the demo, I changed /about-me to /about-me-v1. Even after changing it back to /about-me it does not recognize it anymore. Is this a bug with your theme?

I also made sure that the correct menu was selected.

Additionally, the imported demo pages were broken out of the box. Only the homepage with the card styling was as it should be. The other pages had missing images, overlapping text, etc. Is this perhaps a conflict with my old theme pages?

I have spent a few hours trying to figure this out and have tried everything I know. Do you mind logging in to my WordPress and taking a look? I emailed you the credentials.

Actually for the first point (lightbox), I am not talking about a lightbox page. What I want is to have a regular portfolio page, but within that page have a lightbox gallery. If I choose lightbox gallery on the right hand side as you said, it will make the whole page just a lightbox gallery and the rest of the page will be gone.

Thanks – I did this but it is not really what I wanted. Even when the portfolio title is centered, it is still not aligned with centered paragraphs on the portfolio page below. It still sits to the left, off-center. For now, I put it left-aligned, because it looks slightly better, but I really really wish there was a way to make it truly centered. Is there a solution?

Thanks. So at first, I thought this was perfect. However, I just realized that on some desktop devices, the header image is so big that the user cannot see anything below it without scrolling. That is a problem for me. I want them to be able to see some of the page content always, so they know they can scroll down.

Is there a way just to shift the position of the image, without making the actual header container larger?
