Thank you for checking that!!
It works perfectly! thank you again!
Hi Serkan!
Thanks for the quick reply!
Unfortunately that does not seem to tighten the space between the slider and the header– is there something I can add to it or something else I can try?
Thanks!

Participant18 September 2017 at 03:52Posted in : removing spacing where page titles would goHi Serkan! I checked in an uncached window but it still shows about an inch of space between the bottom of the logo (aka between where it says “Writer Editor Flaneuse) the content on all the pages (for example, the slider on the homepage. I have no doubt I am likely doing something wrong! Right now I am just pasting the custom CSS you wrote into the Custom CSS box in Theme Options > Style under all of my other custom CSS for the site.
No I definitely do want it to align to the right! Unfortunately the text in the 4th column is still showing up right next to the first column.

Participant13 September 2017 at 01:58Posted in : removing spacing where page titles would goHello! Unfortunately, this isn’t doing anything to tighten up the space between the header and the content where the title usually would go. Right now, the content still starts a little too far down on the page. Please advise & thanks for the help in advance!
amazing! thank you so much @serkan!!
Hi Serkan! I appreciate the response. In the text (and visual) editor, however, the text lines are set to align left, however that is not how they are displaying on the webpage.
great perfect!
OK thanks for letting me know!
Great Thank you!!
I also do not know much about CSS or customizing CSS, which is making this particularly tricky.
Hi Serkan,
could you explain what you mean by customize my theme according to the URL? what do I change, and where do I do it? Where do I change the readme logo? I’m sorry if I seem inane, but I’ve dug through the forums and the documentation and am not seeing a way to fix this on my ownHi Serkan— when I follow that and use the “use any font” plug in, I am able to get my font back, but unfortunately the social media icons then show up as chinese (?) characters.
How do I locate and edit the theme’s style sheet?
I should mention, this is the post I was referring to when I say creating shortcodes
http://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/add-logo-between-top-menu-and-blog/
If there is no way to add an SVG file to the header by using shortcode, I can convert it to a jpeg and make the background the same color as the site.
SVG currently: http://www.lisefunderburg.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Lise-1.svg
let me know what’s best! I tried following the article you linked but unfortunately it is far above my skill set.
perfect! thanks!
I followed the instructions on this video and embedded the following CSS:
.h1 site-title {
font-family: ‘Source Sans Pro’, sans-serif;
}but this did not work either. I am only confused because the original CSS in my first post worked when I had the “use any font” plug in activated, but once I deactivated this plug in, the custom css code is not working. The video also offers the opportunity to modify the theme’s header.php file, but I cannot find a way to do that with Readme
Perfect! Thanks!

Participant16 August 2017 at 22:33Posted in : Blog Page not displaying most recent post firstGreat! Thank you!!
Unfortunately the text that I type in the text editor screen does not show up on the actual books page when one clicks “details” and the book rotates.
perfect!! thank you so much!
Unfortunately that does not seem to be working either! I do not believe I have a cache plug in currently. My only plug ins are: akismet anti-spam, broken link checker, display tweets, ninja forms, official stat counter plugin, svg support, updraft plus, word fence security, and wordpress database backup.
Is one of those the problem?
Thank you! I appreciate your work to highlight the recent posts, however my client has asked that they remain the same as other widgets. Thanks again
perfect! thank you!
Thank you! I already have this plugin, however my problem is that I am confused about WHERE to add a logo so that it displays beneath the header menu and above the content on all pages on my site. I cannot find where I upload or edit the logo/banner on your theme.
Great! Thanks so much.

Participant16 August 2017 at 17:53Posted in : Blog Page not displaying most recent post firstHello! I am not entirely sure what is a sticky post, and would love advice. the URL is:
http://www.lisefunderburg.com/blog-2/
Thank you so much!Thank you, that helped! however, now the social media icons are descending vertically on the page, rather than sitting in the header bar horizontally. How do I adjust this?
thank you for the advice on reordering the books, that worked just fine! However there is no place for me to include text details when go to dashboard>book and choose a book. In the details section, my only options are to put a link, cover image, and side image. Please let me know where to put the text details!
I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly, but unfortunately that did not work! I entered it in the custom CSS, but the color did not change.
I have tried to use them but they are not helping me display my header image on the pages. I just want a normal header image (not an add) on the site. I have seen you use a short code in other posts. Can we do the same for my site please?
Moreover, whenever I try to add a text widget to the sidebar, the text disappears as soon as I type it in and does not show up on the page
Unfortunately all that seems to do is align the photo to the right, but it is still below the text rather than adjacent to it. Please advise!
great thanks!
I would like to change the background color of the entire site, including all the blog posts, the static home page, and all of the other pages as well. If possible, I would like to use the color #b0bec5.
Thanks!
this worked perfectly thank you!
Unfortunately when I attempt to do that, the code immediately disappears as soon as I hit save and nothing happens!
