actually when we are designing the theme we planned to use photo-swipe zoom galleries in only portfolio posts where it makes more sense, and use regular galleries in regular posts. But we might think to improve this feature if we get lots of request about it.

using custom css to fix a plugin compatibility issue is not a bad idea, there are milions of plugins out there and i can’t change the codes of the theme each time a user come across an issue (that can easily be fixed with a custom css) with a plugin.

i just tested your site on latest chrome v41 on Mac Os X, it loads same as other browser. did you try “ctrl+F5 / hard refreshing” ?

Hi, you can add search widget to your sidebar, but it will only appear on the blog page, it is not possible by default to add a search bar to homepage.

that’s because you have too much white space in your logo image, crop the white spaces in your logo in an image editor and upload it again, it should be fine then.
