Hi, I’m trying to update the theme to the latest (I think it’s v.3.0.9), but WordPress Update keeps giving me an error message, saying that the install failed. It says there is already a folder named “Bloggy”. On many of the previous updates, the install zip file was named as the version, for instance bloggy-v3-0-2.
I think this may be the problem. Can you update the files available from ThemeForest to have them read v3-0-9, or something like that? Or if there’s another solution, please let me know.
Thanks!
Right…that’s just it. On my desktop, Chrome renders it fine. But on my laptop, it doesn’t. The link I provided (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=336476) shows that it has to do with external Font not rendering until forced repaint. It doesn’t happen in all Chrome sessions, only some. Is there some way to use CSS to ensure that the font always renders? Does it have something to do with fetching an external google font instead of it being embedded? I’m not sure if I’m thinking about it correctly…
The CSS worked, but perhaps the best way to handle this is to put it in the menu on the theme options (so each user can choose “standard font size” or “large font size” for blog single pages). Thanks again
Thanks
Thanks for getting that CSS to us!
Thank you so much for fixing that! It works great now…your customer service is amazing!
When the author’s name is clicked (for instance, “Kevin DeYoung” on this page: http://www.brianhammonds.com/2014/01/14/book-notes-just-do-something-by-kevin-deyoung/), the taxonomy archive should function to point to all book reviews for books by Kevin DeYoung. However, it simply brings up a page showing the name “Kevin DeYoung”.
For an example of how it should work, see this other blog that also uses this plugin where it functions properly: http://cuddlebuggery.com/blog/2011/10/10/review-twilight/
If in this example you click on the author’s name (“Stephenie Meyer”) it takes you to all the book reviews for books by Stephenie Meyer.
I’m not exactly sure of the problem. Any idea how to fix that? Thanks for your attention…
I’m glad you see the issue…any news? Thanks!
I don’t know if there’s been any progress made on the taxonomy archive…any news?
Thank you!
Thank you!

I’ll keep looking for it! Thanks
Just wanted to say thanks for giving access to all the forums. These are a great help for me using Bloggy!
Hi Mehmet,
I updated to 2.9.3 but don’t see any tag cloud on my page using the archive 2 template page. Is there anything I need to enable on my end?
Thanks!
I did that, but the formatting didn’t look like the example on the bloggy theme. The names were not bolded, underlined, etc.
Is the formatting supposed to be that way?
Is there any update on getting a “Archives by Tag” area added to the Archive 2 Template for Bloggy WP? I saw others in the Read WP Forum requested the same feature. (http://www.pixelwars.org/forums/topic/tag-cloud-on-archive-2/#post-10668)
I’d like to request this feature again for Bloggy WP theme…
Any luck looking into the taxonomy archive?
laurarylee,
I did this by turning off the “excerpt” functionality and just manually adding in the “more” tag
