We are trying to use as little shortcodes as possible with the new themes. Please try to use few shortcodes when you creating the posts. There is a php code can erase the shortcodes but if you created an image with full width shortcodes it will also delete your picture so manually work is better for delete it. It is WordPress functionality. If you set a limit of 3 blog posts on the homepage, it will affect your review page as well. Maybe you can search a plugin for this feature and it might break the WordPress functionality then you can set the each page.
