Hi, it is related to folder and file permissions. Set 755 for folders and 644 for files when uploading via FTP. But, if you install the theme via wordpress, it assigns the correct permissions.

Something wrong in the backend side of your site. Update your wordpress first if you have an old one. Then install a fresh copy of the theme via wp admin as described in the theme documentation under “Installation > How To Update The Theme > Update Your Theme via WordPress” section and check again.
