Using the full width and latest post is not possible by default. First of all edit your homepage and choose latest post template on the right-hand side. After that go to settings > reading and choose custom page for the homepage. Then we can provide a custom css code for the homepage.

For the lightbox gallery, edit your portfolio item. Click to add media button > then create gallery button > choose your images and hit the create a new gallery button and save it.
You don’t need to use shortcode for the lightbox gallery in portfolio.

Hi, this is really awkward, when the first time font icons are not loaded i checked the chrome console and saw an error message about Font from origin has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.
