If the purpose is to present photos of products under the main categories, you can essentially solve this process. We are overriding the shortcode. Why would you like to use jetpack plugin? Is it functionality much better than ours ? If you still don’t want to use our default feature and want to use jetpack plugin then we might think to add a feature for disable shortcodes for the next update.

And when you say it is not working, I just tried in our demo and theme is not supporting it. It is an extra feature which is not included in the theme. I would like to find a better solution for you that is why I advised you to use our default portfolio functionality.
