The changes you make through the Customiser should affect the theme. But if it’s still too big for you, please deactivate your third party plugins, clear the cache and test again.

2) I may have such a recommendation for you; You can mark the posts you want to show as stick posts. In this way, if you select only sticky posts on the slider, you will show your specific posts.
3) You cannot add your advert post to the Featured area, but you can add it to every other area.
If you go to settings > reading > you can choose your homepage and blog page then save it.

You can add it as a menu item, not as an icon. To add it to the menu, you need to open the menu items and drag and drop the related submenus.

Regardless of the theme, it does not allow photo change in the tests I did with the wordpress default theme. Since you are having a problem independent of the theme, I kindly ask you to ask your hosting company about this issue. A hosting settings may be preventing this.

As I mentioned above, when I enter the homepage page, you have a panel on the right side. Here you can select the tab you want from the header style tab. If you choose the default one, it will be affected by all the changes you make on the customizer panel in your dashboard.You can use the following css code for your second request. The first code is to remove the red ribbon, the second is to change the colour to black because the ribboned menu item is white. You can not use it if you want.

I have visited all the menus on your website one by one. The ribbon turns red whichever menu is active. Other than that, when hower is done, only black ribbon appears. As you said, there is no ribbon that remains constant.

If it doesn’t appear when you make a change to the Customiser, the cache plugins you are using are still storing old code. So I recommend cleaning the cache.

You have to drag and drop submenus on the menu. However, changes in their position or other features can be made with custom css code. It is not possible by default.
